Hello! My name is Julia and I’m excited to become a sitter on Rover. I grew up in Slovakia with a wonderful schnauzer who I trained from the age of 13. She was an incredible companion and even had a knack for searching for mushrooms in the woods—an impressive talent for a dog! Currently, I live in Englewood, NJ, where I've had the joy of sharing my life with an amazing dog. We recently lost our gentle giant, an Airedale Terrier named Samson, who was with us for 10 wonderful years. Samson was not only a beloved pet but also my daughter's protector since she was born. Despite his intimidating size, he was gentle and caring, never hurting anyone, but always ready to take care of pesky rodents in the backyard. He brought so much laughter into our lives, and it’s true what they say: if you don’t have a sense of humor, you shouldn’t own an Airedale! We absolutely adore dogs and often borrow our friends' dogs while they are away, which has only deepened our love for furry companions. As we adjust to life without Samson, my 8-year-old daughter and I are eager to take care of dogs independently. We would love the opportunity to share our home and love with your furry friends. We promise to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for them. Looking forward to meeting your pets!

Julia is wonderful !!! She boarded my two dogs for a week. She kept me notified with texts and pics on how they were doing. She is very kind and attentive My dogs were very happy I certainly will be having Julia take care of them again!!

We were very happy with the care provided and the pictures of our dog Mackie. This was the first time we boarded him for such a long stretch, so we were nervous, but it was clear he was doing just great. Much appreciated and will book again.
Julia took such a great care of both my senior and puppy. She and her daughter showed tons of love for them.
Julia was amazing. She was warm, compasionate and loving to my senior pup. She was accomodating when I had to change the drop off date, and treated Lucy as one of her own. She sent photos frequently, which I loved. Lucy was calm and happy when I came to pick her up. I will definitely use Julia again. Thank you, Julia.
