Hello! My name is Julia and I’m excited to become a sitter on Rover. I grew up in Slovakia with a wonderful schnauzer who I trained from the age of 13. She was an incredible companion and even had a knack for searching for mushrooms in the woods—an impressive talent for a dog! Currently, I live in Englewood, NJ, where I've had the joy of sharing my life with an amazing dog. We recently lost our gentle giant, an Airedale Terrier named Samson, who was with us for 10 wonderful years. Samson was not only a beloved pet but also my daughter's protector since she was born. Despite his intimidating size, he was gentle and caring, never hurting anyone, but always ready to take care of pesky rodents in the backyard. He brought so much laughter into our lives, and it’s true what they say: if you don’t have a sense of humor, you shouldn’t own an Airedale! We absolutely adore dogs and often borrow our friends' dogs while they are away, which has only deepened our love for furry companions. As we adjust to life without Samson, my 8-year-old daughter and I are eager to take care of dogs independently. We would love the opportunity to share our home and love with your furry friends.
