I am a long-time dog owner but currently own six cats. I am Deaf and communicate with animals using sign language which they are remarkably adept at quickly learning especially if their owners reinforce what is taught to them at home as well. I currently manage a sign language interpreting business from home so animals will have constant access to me. I reside on a 1/3 acre lot with a huge backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run freely if preferred. I have a husband and two grown children (son, 19, and daughter, 23) who are all good with animals as well. All animals will have access to both outdoors and indoors as preferred. Food and water will also be freely available unless prior arrangements are made.
