I own two male and one female English Bulldogs. I have had a dog in my home for greater than 20 years! My life would not be complete without my best friends. Marley is 9, Tucker is 5 and Ella is 2. They are all neutered and indoor dogs. I use "Love and Logic", which is a communication style for children. I have found this method to be very beneficial with animals as well. I can control them in 3 words or less. However, when others are present, they make a liar out of me! You'll just have to trust me on that. They respect me greatly, and thrive with routine. As an educator, I am home full time during the summer months, and have extended breaks during the holidays. My dogs sleep with me and follow me around the house, especially when I slip into the kitchen for a snack! They get the occasional "cookie" or French fries. I do not allow my dogs on the couch.
