I absolutely love animals and have been dog-sitting through Rover for 2 years, and have maintained a strong client base with great reviews. In college I worked at PetSmart’s Doggie Day Care and PetsHotel taking care of the dogs— walking, feeding, bathing and looking after them. I also am a cat owner, and absolutely adore my two fur babies. Therefore, I have a lot of experience taking care of a variety of pets with different personalities and needs.

Julia is awesome!! She was super flexible to work with for meet and greet scheduling and last minute date add ons. The pictures we got while we were gone showed that our cat, Dante, was living his best life and getting lots of cuddles and love. We came home to a happy kitty! Julia did a wonderful job looking after my two cats. She was communicative and available, responding quickly and sending helpful updates. My biggest priority is the comfort of pets and the people while they are apart. While I don’t offer pet care in my own home, I will follow everything you instruct me to do in your home! I’m also a huge believer in leaving a place in better condition than you found it, especially when sleeping over. I want clients to have a space that is clean, and enjoyable to come home to.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or medications so that I can take the best care of your pet while you’re away! I will also need to know how many hours they can be left alone, if I can take the dogs hiking/out of the house, and how often you would like updates.
A typical day
Part of my own self-care routine is taking walks after work, and I would love to bring your dog along! Neighborhood walks or even adventures to new parks are something I can do- I love exploring new places! I’m also a hiker, and could take a dog on a hike if you feel comfortable with that. Playing with toys is also essential- even for cats!

I work as a social worker mostly remote, so I am able to spend a lot of time during the weekdays with your pet. ** I prefer to watch dogs that can be left alone for a minimum of 4 hours **
