A tired pet is a good pet!

Pet care experience

Growing up, we always had dogs in the house, most of which were shown to championship conformance titles and I am now a doting pet mom to three little ones of my own. You may have even seen all of us out in the summer at the Farmers Market or walking around town! On top of social outings, my Springer gets exercised 3 times a in addition to training for field trials. I am a firm believer that mental stimulation is just as important for pets as physical exercise so puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, 'hide and seek games' and basic command training are a part of our every day life. My 3 boys are high enery so I know what I takes to maintain a calm household and manage multiple pets. My cats are high maintenance due to their breed and one of them has special needs. I have trained the three of them myself and they are all (yes, even the cats) trained to respond to basic commands. I run a tight but loving ship. I also have experience with exotics as I had two geckos and a snake growing up. Bugs and mice do not phase me! Aside from my pets, I am studying economics and plan to attend law school after my undergrad. I work part time for the Government and volunteer for Regina Cat Rescue as part of their community cat program feeding homeless and feral cats in Regina. Before COVID, I traveled the world competing on the national fencing team. I understand that sometimes life gets busy and there isn't always enough hours in the day to make sure your fur babies have all the attention they need. My life is dedicated to my pets happiness and you and your pets can expect nothing less.

Julia was phenomenal. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my pup with her, I highly recommend her. My dog typically doesn’t eat while she’s in a new environment but Julia worked her magic and she was eating both breakfast and supper. For each day that we were away, she updated us with videos and photos of their adventures. Julia is extremely comfortable with animals and her knowledge and care is evident. I will be contacting her in the near future for her services. She is utterly amazing!
