Pet care experience
I have loved dogs and taken care of them since my childhood! I have experience caring for dogs from the time they are puppies through end of life care. My soul dog, Yoda, is very friendly and has never met another dog he didn't get along with! He is a rescue and has taught me a lot about caring for dogs with anxiety. I understand how much patience is required when dogs are stressed or anxious and I pride myself on creating a space for them to feel calm and safe.

Julia and Yoda are the BEST! I was really worried about Buster on his first day without me. And he had a blast with his new friends. Julia is so flexible with time and as long as you tell her what's going on she is happy to go with the flow!
Julia is amazing with our two boxers! Always so loving, playful and kind with them and our family. I trust her completely with them. She cares for our dogs like she cares for her own.

I have one dog, Yoda, who will be here to keep your dog(s) company with me! I understand that being in a new place can be hard for our fur babies so I am willing to do what I can do make your dog comfortable. If that means crating them, I can, if that means letting them on all the furniture, then Yoda will be right next to them :) I live in a townhome with stairs, I work on the second floor but have baby gates to keep the dogs on the same floor I am so I can keep an eye on things. Yoda stays busy in between his naps by monitoring our street through the big window or playing with his toys. Your dog will have the best time doing all of the above with him! Also, I live in a quiet neighborhood that I know your dog will like walking in!

A typical day
My dog Yoda and I love to have friends over! In between naps, we will play with toys, go for walks and smell everything we can in the neighborhood! If allowed, we can take a quick 2 minute car ride to Lincoln park and walk there! We are also a big fan of cuddles in this house!

I work from home and am only in meetings for 2-3 hours in the day. When I am not in a meeting, I am able to play with the dogs, take them out and give them love and attention.
