Pet care experience
I've been caring for furry friends since I was 5 when my family raised rabbits. I have 30+ years of caring for all kinds of pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles and amphibians. Even a tarantula once 😳 I don't mind picking up mail, watering plants, scooping litter boxes... I just can not host in my own home as my big dog, Cy, isn't dog friendly.

Julia did an amazing job taking care of our senior pup. We were a bit concerned about leaving him because he’s toward the end of his life, but Julia kept us updated on his progress while we were gone. We appreciated that if she had any questions, she was very quick to ask them, which gave us lots of peace about being out of town. We would have Julia back again in a heartbeat! She also watered our plans during the hot summer days we were gone. Thank you, Julia for taking such good care of our old puppy and our house. It’s very reassuring to be confident that you are leaving your house and pup in the best of hands!
Julia did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats for 10 days. I was initially very nervous about leaving behind our babies but Julia provided regular updates and sent photos every day. My instructions were quite specific and they were followed to the T. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Julia again for pet sitting needs.
Julia was fantastic as a house and dog sitter when I had to be away during the days this past weekend. My dog Hazel loved her, and clearly got a ton of attention because when I came home, Hazel greeted me without her usual desperate angst and went back to happily lean against Julia. I’d definitely hire Julia again.

I believe it's imperative to know your pups temperament. I'd like to know what to expect in the way of behavior if taking your dog for a walk. Dietary needs and medications are equally as important.
A typical day
I really like playing fetch and actively engaging with puppers. Chasing them around the yard is the best. No yard? No problem. I'll take your pup for a walk so they can stretch their legs and sniff the neighborhood. The cuddles are my favorite, though.

I currently work from 7am-3:30pm, so I’m completely available outside that timeframe. I can accommodate a potty break on my lunch break for those that I house sit for.
