FT Pet Nanny, Big yard 17000 sqft

Pet care experience

I offer a unique service - providing full-time, home-based pet care/nannying services. This ensures your fur babies receive much attention/companionship, both day & eve, in a home-from-home environment. Our home has 17,000 sq ft indoor & outdoor areas (fully fenced) - plenty of space for off-leash exercise/play/structured games etc. I have past experience of working in a vet’s practice, helping to care for pets and ensuring a safe and pleasurable experience for all. In addition, I have over 20 years of pet care experience as it is my passion and profession! I devote my full-time care, love, companionship, exercise, play & hugs to your fur babies, in a spacious home. 1. I have experience of working with dogs of all temperaments, whether shy/nervous/dominant etc. I can help with training dogs and do this as a matter of course, if required. I have extensive experience and fully capable of dealing with nervous, anxious, geriatric dogs who need assistance to move, have joint issues or who mess themselves, plus pets on special diets, or other medical conditions etc. My home has plenty of exercise areas with many different doggie toys and I provide many structured activities/fun games! 2. My home has 3 separate, large, outdoor play areas. All areas are fully fenced with a mixture of real grass, artificial grass, paved areas, bushes, trees, patio furniture, shade structures, fans & misters for cooling. 3. We also have 2 large indoor play areas, climate controlled with furniture, cushions, rugs and a large play mat for games and story time bonding. 4. I only take a few dogs at a time and have so much space, that I can provide individual indoor/outdoor play and exercise sessions, should this be required. 5. All pets become part of our family and receive the best loving care. 6. Dogs go on-leashed walks around neighborhood/various parks/trails. 7. Group/individual play/exercise for doggie fun. We play many structured games for doggies that wish to join in - fetch with balls, frisbee, follow the leader, hide n seek, tug of war, bacon bubbles play, doggie splash mat, doggie puzzles, and mental simulation games etc. 8. We have a fenced-off pool. Swimming can be discussed/arranged. For a dog 10 MIN SWIM = 40 MINS RUNNING! 9. Dogs have their own private “doggie suite” with blankets, soft cushions etc. These separate areas ensure doggie relaxation/sleeping arrangements. This helps to ensure the counter surfing dogs don't get into anything that they shouldn’t, the anxious/destructive dogs don't have anything harmful they can swallow or destroy, plus older dogs don't get bombarded by playful younger dog energy. 10. Doggie suites also have a TV that can show doggie programs, plus a sound machine that can play doggie relaxation sounds/music/white noise. 11. I can provide you with many doggie updates and pics. 12. I am experienced and passionate about working with dogs, providing the best care possible. Plus, all dogs will become part of our family & will be treated with loving care, receive plenty of attention and hugs. 13. Business Grad/Marketing Post Grad and Qualified Teacher. I have worked as a lecturer in various colleges and been Managing Director of four different businesses. 14. I have many skills, including that I am organized, adaptable, empathetic, great communicator/listener/observer. 15. I possess strong leadership skills, which are necessary to build/maintain/reassure any form of doggie pack. All dogs need a great leader/master for protection, direction, love, care, etc. My vast experience of dogs ensures they respect me as pack leader through positive associations, play/engagement, rewards, praise and consistent, loving care for them. This ensures all doggies feel content, happy and protected in my care, as a strong pack leader is what dogs crave and deserve! 16. I am from England, UK and known as Mary Poppins of the pooch world!! As I am told that I provide a magical vacation which is - super-cali-fragi-listic-expi-ali-docious! 17. I am passionate about dogs & would love to help by caring for your fur babies, when you cannot be there. Pls feel free to ask me any questions.

Julia and her family took excellent care of my fur baby. She was treated with love, and special care. Midnight (my fur baby), quickly acclimated to her new environment, because of the love she felt and received from Julia and her family. Julia made special accommodations for my fur baby, when she refused to eat her breakfast. Julia was able to get her to consume her entire bowl. Julia also kept me updated with Midnight daily activities, attitude and comfort level. I plan to utilize her services again. Thank you, so much Julia for your excellent care of Midnight.

I was a little hesitant using Rover for the first time but Julia was fantastic! I booked her for a drop in with my dog and she came at the scheduled tome, tired him out playing ball in the yard, and sent cute photos! Would absolutely book with Julia again!

If you’re looking for a safe, secure and fun place to board your dog, take them to Julia’s. We took our Lab Daisy for an overnight stay and I can honestly say that I had no worries whatsoever. Julia and her family are very sweet. Their home is very spacious and the outdoor areas are amazing. Lots of room for your pet to run and explore with great little areas for your pet to rest as well. I can tell Daisy had LOTS of playtime with playing fetch and running around the yard because she came home ready to nap! Julia kept me updated with pictures and assured me that Daisy was fitting in well with the other dogs, which I appreciate. We will definitely book with Julia again. She was wonderful! I give her 5 Stars!

Our 17,000sq ft. home is fully fenced, with 3 separate outdoor areas, which is especially good if a dog is anxious and wants some play time individually. There are plenty of grassy and paved areas, as well as trees to relax under. I provide dogs with a home-from-home experience in a safe, secure, fun, loving home. Dogs are allowed on inside/outside furniture (unless otherwise requested, as not their usual routine). Additionally: 1. Only have a few dogs, ensuring each receives individual attention and it is not too noisy of overwhelming. 2. Only accept social dogs & supervise, to prevent risk of rough play. 3. Only accept dogs on current vaccines, flea and tick prevention. 4. Slow introduction to other dogs and can keep separate if needed. 5. Follow hygiene protocols - reg. wash areas/dog toys/bedding etc. 6. Home heated/air conditioned, maintaining comfortable temperature. 7. Each dog sleeps in own “doggie area” for peace and relaxation. 8. All 3 outdoor areas and pool area are fenced. 9. Dogs fed in own “doggie area”, prevents stealing/food guarding. 10. Seek to give owners peace of mind as dogs receive utmost care. ON HOT DAYS WHEN CONCRETE IS SCORCHING TO DOGGIE PAWS 1. Dogs are walked early/very late in the day. 2. Home air conditioned, several ceiling & stand-alone fans. 3. Large grassy areas for them to exercise on, which is cooler. 4. A large grassy area right by a door, so easy access, safer to paws. 5. Several shade cloths are erected in outdoor play areas. 6. Outdoors has shade cloths, misting system & 2 ceiling fans. 7. Aqua play offered - swimming & playing is great exercise & cooling. 8. Dogs could relax on pool rafts, a cooling, stimulating sensation.
