Julia was great and our dog Hippo did not want to leave with me after two weeks of boarding.
He was even whining a little the first night back home.

Julia is so kind and responsible and I would trust her with my pets any time! She has taken care of my dog and cat when my family has gone out of town many times (at least 5) over the last ~8 years, and we've always been super happy with her care. She has always made sure they were happy, clean, and well-fed. Julia has also kept her own dog very happy and well-exercised, and ...

Julia loves dogs more than anyone I know. She will stop a conversation to admire any kind of canine and always walks those in her care on grass (when available) so as to protect their paws from hot pavement or rough cement. I can also guarantee that she will cuddle and love your pet wholeheartedly (even if it's been a while since their last bath).

Any activity a dog could ask for!

I have owned and been around dogs all my life and thus I've grown up adoring these fuzzy four-legged beings. I have had the pleasure of working as a dog sitter/walker with a variety of dog breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I have a lot of dog care experience in terms of walking dogs, playing with dogs, cleaning up after the fun is over (grooming, cleaning up messes etc.), and administering oral medication. Additionally ...

What Julia would like to know about your dog

I have no breed preferences. Please tell me a bit about your dog before I care for them. I would like to know about any daily routines, their personality (energy level, friendliness, anxieties), your pets food intake, favorite games, toys, and activities, as well as any other special care instructions (i.e. grooming instructions, diet restrictions, medications and their administration, physical injuries etc.)

When Julia watches your pet

At my home there is room for a dog bed and/or crate. Dogs are welcome and able to play inside with toys or venture outside to the large backyard. The outdoor space is perfect for a supervised romp in the grass, a game of fetch, and the obvious bathroom break. Additionally, within a 5 minute walk is the Hunnewell Town Forest with many woodsy paths and the Mathworks Field with more sheltered walking paths and water access behind it. If your dog fancies a car ride we can take a 5-10 minute trip to many gorgeous locations. We can venture to the dog-friendly part of Dug Pond in Natick, the gorgeous loop trail at Wellesley College, or any number of the trails at the nearby Elm Bank Reservation. Any of these areas can be adapted to offer short strolls for a bit of exercise or longer more strenuous walks to tire your pup out.
