Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for neighbors and friends for the past 5 years. This past year I volunteered and fostered for the SPCA providing care and love for the animals currently in the shelter. This experience provided a great amount of training on proper pet handling and reading animals body language.

This is the second time I've had Julia walk/watch my dog and I couldn't be happier! She's very communicative and I felt comfortable leaving my dog for the weekend. My dog can be nervous around strangers but immediately loved Julia!

I love dogs that are not mine as if they were my own! I have many years of caring for dogs and other animals. I am good at taking care of multiple pets and different types of pets. I have taken care of dogs who need meds, older dogs, puppies, etc. I am engaging and loving with your pet. Prior to caring for your pet I would love to schedule a meet and greet to ensure you and your pets need are being met. Whether your pet needs medication, specific dietary needs, or any other special instructions, I am more than happy to accommodate to their needs.
A typical day
Whatever fun activities your furry friend loves to, I’ll make sure we do during my visit. Whether they love sniffing on a long walk, food puzzles, or playing fetch, I’ll make sure they have the best time! I know my pup always love a long walk, fetch, or going to get a pup cup. While caring for your pet, I’ll always do their favorite activities with them!

I'm currently a grad student at VCU, and have plenty of time outside of class to care for your pets. I'm available after 3:00 Monday through Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
