Pet care experience
It can be so difficult to leave your babies while traveling, but leaving them with me will make it a heck of a lot easier on both you and your furry family member! It can take some dogs more time than others to become comfortable around someone new, so what I like to do is meet in a neutral place (a park or the beach). This will help them to accept me coming into their space more easily. If you have an animal who loves to have visitors then I could definitely come to your house to meet you and your pet(s). Your dog and their well being is my number one priority. I will treat them as my own. I have 1 dog that lives with me, Rooster. I have a king snake named Arthur. My rabbits, Turbo and Tache, live in a hutch and fenced area in my yard. I also have a 75 gallon freshwater aquarium here at my house and my cat, Loki. I’ve had ducks, turtles, tortoises, goats, and small birds in the past. I do offer training tips and can work with your dog on certain things if needed. If there are any issues or concerns, let me know and I will probably be able to help you with them.
Reviews
Julia was wonderful! Frisco had a blast and we received photos and updates for his stay. I would definitely rebook and recommend Julia for boarding your pet. Thanks Julia!
Julia is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. She mDe the extra effort to meet our dogs before caring for them. I would absolutely recommend her.
Julia is a real animal lover, our cat warmed up to her so fast. Thanks Julia!
Julia is an incredible petsitter! She took great care of our pets (via home visits) and provided frequent updates & pics of the pets. We have a senior dog with medical needs so it was a huge relief to know he was in good hands. Julia was super professional & communicative even through crazy schedule changes, an anxious pup, and an ant inavsion (eek). The kitten seemed to take a liking to her. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I have a fenced yard and the cat who lives at the house is used to dogs. If your dogs are crate trained I have a dog room with all sizes of crates so no need to bring yours. Typically the dogs have free run of the yard while I’m home but not unsupervised. When boarding dogs, if I leave the house they come with me or stay home in their crate. I have cameras and I check on them frequently. I’m never gone more than 4 hours. If I’m house sitting and your dogs are fine to be left at the house when I need to run an errand or go to a training session then I will leave them home.

Information Julia A. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog have any 'hot spots' (does not like to be touched certain places on their body)? Does your dog have any aggression, whether it be towards people or other animals? For example: food aggression, dog aggression, high prey drive (cats and other smaller animals), issues with people approaching him/her while on leash, taking toys away, other dogs taking their toys.
A typical day
I start my days Monday - Friday with a 4 mile pack run out on the More Mesa Bluffs from 9-10:30am. If your dog is good off leash I like to take the pack to an open space to chase the ball and socialize and sniff. There is an open space out in Goleta near my dads house that I like to go to, since I go out there almost every day. If your dog is better on leash then a walk through the neighborhood will do just fine. I typically like to walk about 1 mile. I can do more if requested.

Availability
Monday - Friday weekly 9-10:30am I do a 3-4mile pack run out on the More Mesa Bluffs. On warm sunny days I like to go to the beach so they can play in the water. I go to Red Rock when there is a lot of water and it’s not too hot. Throughout the week I have training sessions with various clients but not a set schedule or time. I bring outside boarding dogs with me to these sessions and they can either participate or wait in the car. Sessions are usually 1 hour.
