Pet care experience
I have life-long experience caring for cats and dogs, ranging from miniature to giant breeds. I have a special place in my heart for giant breeds, having owned Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees dogs. I am also sensitive to the special needs of rescue dogs. I am currently a counseling psychology graduate student hoping to engage with our community. My training in behavioral psychology had been instrumental in furthering my understanding of animal behavior and honing my ability to help animals feel safe, engaged, and at ease. Over the past several years I have gained experience living on a farm working with various livestock animals, cats, pet dogs, and livestock guardian dogs. I am comfortable administering medication and caring for animals with special needs. I would love the opportunity to help with your pets.

Jules house sat for our two little girls while we visited family for Christmas and we felt most comfortable having her care for them. When she came for a meet and greet the first thing she did was sit on the floor with the dogs to make them feel comfortable. So we knew right away she would take very good care of them. She sent us updates twice a day along with pictures. She even brought Christmas stockings for them! We highly recommend her and will definitely use her services in the future.
Jules was great. Super communicative before and during her visit. Jules stayed in our home while we were out of town. The pups were greatly cared for, we got daily pics and updates. I would trust and have Jules take care of our 3 crazy and needy dogs in the future.
Jules is the greatest!! She has taken care of my two large lab mixes as well as my (very timid) cat. She was kind and professional. With past sitters I've worried about my rescue dog who can be slow to warm up and doesn't do well meeting new dogs, though I felt very confident that she understood his needs and could anticipate any problems. She took care of my fur babies just like her own.

I love to hike and do so frequently with my dog! I attend Bastyr University and have access to St. Edwards Park, forest trails and access to Lake Washington. I also have access to a fully fenced off-leash dog area at my home for vaccinated pups who enjoy social interaction.
