Pet care experience
Since I lost my sweet 13-year old pup in 2020, I have been working with a rescue that saves dogs from the CC kennel. In that role I have worked with many different dogs and have worked with a trainer to improve dog behaviors. I will keep your dog safe while giving them a healthy and fun walk.
Reviews
Judy is loving with our energetic, anxious pup as well as prompt and professional.
Leaving a second review. Grateful to have Judy’s support. She is incredibly patient and so responsive to messages. She takes extra special care and even meets on off hours to help with your pets needs. Really amazing to meet such a kind person, and doggy friend.
Judy did a great job this week! Highly recommend!
I rupture my achilles before the holiday so finding people to walk to my dog hasn't been the easiest. My dog usually gets a little timid with new people entering the house, but it was love at first sight with Judy. I haven't seen him shake his butt with excitement like that with a new person! She must be a dog whisperer. Judy is very kind, reassuring AND quick to respond. Will definitely be using her in the future.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety is my top priority! During our meet and greet I will ask about your dog's behaviors, reactivity to people/kids/dogs, and food sensitivities, so I can be sure to keep them safe on our outing, and also have snacks available that they can safely enjoy as a reward. I appreciate it when clients let me know the commands they are using with their pup, so we are speaking the same language from the beginning! It also helps if clients can recommend a neighborhood walk that the dog knows so that they can relax into the familiarity of their normal routine and environment.
Information Judy P. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know what your dog enjoys most. Is it fetch, keep-away, or just taking a walk at your dog's favorite pace. Also, what are your goals for your dog? Do you just want them to have a good time and do their business, or do you want them to achieve a certain level of activity for their health. Are there training goals you are working on that you'd like me to support? What should I avoid, and what do you want me to encourage?
A typical day
I love my daily dog visits! Depending on how eager the pup is for their walk, we usually start our visit with some snuggles, and then we leash up and head out on our adventure! Some clients ask that I take their dog to the local dog park. This gives pups some space to stretch their legs and pick up some speed if they have lots of energy to burn. For dogs that enjoy on-leash walking, I enjoy both an on-leash neighborhood walk or on-leash open space walk. There are so many great open spaces in the East Bay to explore.

I retired recently and I enjoy taking walks both in the neighborhood and the local open space. I enjoy my walks better when I have the company of a furry friend. I look forward to sharing my daily walks with your pup!
