Pet care experience
Having had our own fur baby, we realize that having a place for other fur babies to go, that provides loving care to them while their humans are away, is as important to the fur babies as it is to the humans. We live in a beautiful neighborhood that affords safe, daily walks.

I leave my two year old Bernese Mountain Dog with Judy every time I go on vacation. I know my baby is safe and receives all the care and attention she could ever want, as if it was her own vacation! Judy is a great care taker and easy to communicate with which sets my mind at ease. I would definitely recommend choosing her for your pups own vacation!

We are on 5 acres, no fence. We would walk the dog on the property in the morning but walk around the neighborhood in the evening. I am home most days but go into work on occasion so they do need to be trained. Well trained dogs can come to work with me if their owners are ok with that.

Is the dog properly vaccinated? Proof of vaccinations and vet information. Does the dog have barking issues? Does the dog chew things or has the dog swallowed something they shouldn’t not have? (Helps us to know if we need to puppy proof or not and what level) Does the dog have allergies? What’s the energy level? What times does the dog need to go potty?
A typical day
Depends on the dog and the time of year. We have a lot of property to walk or walk the neighborhood. Sit on the back porch or play catch. We’re close to a lot of good walking parks. We also own a boat. If the humans are up for it, their fur babies can enjoy a little cruise around Casco Bay in the summer.

All our kids are grown and out of the house. We lost out fur baby Bear in 2022 and are not ready to get our own fur baby again, but we love dogs and we love sitting dogs. We thought this would be a good way to help others leave their fur babies and feel like they are being taken care of and get our doggy fix too. Gives us a good reason to walk the neighborhood.
