Pet care experience

I've lived with at least one dog my whole life, I'm now a senior. I am very comfortable around all breeds and sizes, and they always seem to like and trust me. I am the pack leader, but I lead with positive enforcement. Dogs are only in kennels when necessary, and for short periods of time (like feeding). I try to replicate their norms to the greatest extent possible. At Grandma's House you bring your own food and treats (no rawhide please) which is beneficial to your fur baby's digestive health. You are encouraged to bring an item (scarf, T-shirt) with your scent on it to help your best friend not feel abandoned, and their favorite toy. If you are staying at a local resort, Big Cedar, Wilderness Club or Paradise Point, and want to take your dog to the lake with you for the day, just pick him up and bring him back (dry) later.

Judy's downstairs tenant, Karen, takes care of the small dogs. We were so happy with Karen's care of our toy poodle, Sophie. It was obvious to us that Karen has a lot of knowledge working with dogs. And she let Sophie sleep with her. We would definitely use this sitter in the future. Guy B. -Sacramento, CA.

Great place to take your fur babies. Both ladies here were kind & caring & we like that our smaller babies were kept separate from the bigger ones. The location was convenient for us.

We took our first vacation with our one year Standard Poodle, Sophie, to Branson. We wanted a family day of activities, but wanted to make sure our Sophie was taken care of. Judy “Grandma’s House” was our solution. I was a little nervous because I had never left my baby with someone I didn’t know, but Judy was so wonderful. She gave me & Sophie time to adjust & when comfortable, I left Sophie in good hands. Sophie was excited to play with her new friends. I was so pleased when Judy contacted me to let me know Sophie was doing well & was settling in. From that I was able to relax & enjoy the day knowing Judy was caring for my baby & thoughtful enough to give me info on Sophie. Thank you Judy. I would recommend Judy & use her services again when visiting Branson.

Information Judy N. would like to know about your pet

I like to know as much about the dog as possible. What word or phrase do they know that means they need to relieve themselves? How much food is given at a feeding, what time of day is the normal feeding times. What time is the pet used to the household getting up in the morning, and going to bed at night. Where and how do they sleep at home?

A typical day

Being a senior, I am not inclined to long walks or running. I do play fetch, frizbee, etc. in the fenced yard. There are several toys to play with, as well as the other foggy guests.
