My inspiration was my rescue pup!
Pet care experience
My rescue had been neglected and abused. It took this frightened and dominant 7 month old German Shepard 2 years of constant training with me. We built a bond like no other because of it. Although he passed after 14 sweet years together, I miss him terribly and would now love to help others. He taught me what a strong breed could be. And because of that, I also learned so very much about all the subtle signs a dog makes while happy, nervous, frightened, and / or aggressive. I taught myself how to quickly handle corrections. Also to train them with love and compassion. My home is just simply not the same without a dog in it!! So, I’m happy to say I adopted my new boy (a sweet 8 month old Collie) after 3 years, in 11/21. 🐾💕 Brody and I look forward to getting to know you and your sweet pup (s).

Judy J. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
Judy went above and beyond taking care of our dog for 6 days. She was so kind and caring in every way. Our dog had to be taken to the vet and take meds, all which Judy did for us! She provided constant updates, photos and videos. Our dog had the best time with Judy and her other dog friends too. We would recommend Judy hands down and already have to our friends. Thank you for everything Judy!!!
Judy was great with Dottie. So patient and understanding! She provided updates, pictures and videos frequently which our kids loved. Thank you for being so attentive!
Judy took such great care of our dog while we were on vacation! We had not spent any time away from our baby since before Covid, and were so concerned about how he would adapt to our absence. Judy was everything we needed her to be - patient, gentle, understanding, loving, and confident. She also took care of a little wound on Finny’s leg, making sure it stayed clean and was healing properly. We would not have had any anxiety at all if we had known what amazing care she would provide. Finny became very attached to her and also had the opportunity to meet and play with neighborhood dog friends and others who came to stay with Judy while we were gone. Absolutely, I would recommend Judy ESPECIALLY for someone using a sitting service for the first time. Your dog will have so much fun, and you will get updates and videos so you can relax and know he’s in the best place away from home. Without any hesitation, we will 100% ask Judy to watch him on any future trips we take, knowing Finny will feel like he’s going on an adventure with friends!!

I have a partially fenced in yard for my pups that like to explore beyond the yard, shall we say. This way I know they are safe and again by my side. I enjoy hanging out with them in the fenced portion of the yard and on my deck. In the winter months, I have an enclosed front porch where they can watch the world go by!! That said, I believe walks are a crucial part of a dogs happiness. We walk anywhere from 1 to 3 times a day. Plus a few times a week, we have what is now affectionately called puppy palace where my dogs and the neighbor dogs get together while their owners have a cup of coffee before they start their day. It’s so much fun for all of us!!

Information Judy J. would like to know about your pet
Housebroken is number one, pun intended! Crate trained is preferred, but not necessary. This is only for their safety should I have to run to the store during their stay. Otherwise, unless they find comfort in a crate, there is no need for them here.
A typical day
Plenty of walks around town. The metro parks are right here for pups that like hiking. I also have an agility course setup for pets that are so inclined. To ensure I can share lots of love and attention, I typically have no more than 3 to 4 dogs at a time.

I am retired, and enjoy having my pups by my side during their stay. My motto is this is their 2nd home while their family is away. 💕🐾
