I currently have 5 medium sized dogs at home and I foster dogs for AARCS. I have been volunteering at the dog shelter for five years,working with dogs of all sizes, breed, personalities and some with behavioural issues. I have taken a behavioural course at the shelter on dogs with behavioural issues so I am very good with watching body queues and sensing when a dog may not be happy or stressed. Ultimately, when a dog is socialized, mentally and physically stimulated ...it will be a happy dog. I am also one of the Dog Adoptions Supervisors so I help dogs find their forever homes and match them with their new families. Helping animals has always been my passion since I was a little girl and knowing that I can make a difference in one dogs life fills my heart with joy <3

Judy is known as “Auntie Judy” at the rescue I volunteer at for a reason! Judy treats every dog she meets with patience, love and care as if that dog were her own. She knows how to calm a stressed out and shy dog and she knows how to make walking a 200 pound excitable Newfie-cross look easy. Judy can quickly form a bond with a dog and gain a dog's trust. She will take the time to get down on her knees and sit with a shy dog to built rapport. I think her absolute love of dogs shows through actions - Judy is kind, caring and loving and will treat each and every dog she meets with respect and patience. She brings so much joy and positive energy because of that love, it’s great being around Auntie Judy and being around dogs at the same time!
Judy is a dog lover extraordinaire. She volunteers at a dog shelter and also fosters rescue dogs in her home. Judy has a lot of knowledge about dogs and is loving and patient with them. I would highly recommend Judy.
