Local dog walker and sitter

Pet care experience

I grew up with a much-loved Springer Spaniel called Rio, who loved (teeny tiny) stones and grinned when she was happy. When she passed, brother and sister Bella & Spike filled the dog-shaped void in the family home, and were like chalk and cheese. Spike the trouble-maker and Bella the innocent lamb being lead astray. I've grown up taking them out for walks on the heath or to the beach, and feeding them, aswell as trying to stop them sulking too much when the parents go away.

Judith came and met Albie before we made the booking as he is a sensitive boy. She took time to understand him and see how he is out on a walk with other dogs and humans. During our stay away we had regular pictures of a muddy Albie out for walks, and even a video as she taught him ‘down’. We felt totally confident that Albie was looked after. The house was spotless on our return too. We will definitely be rebooking Judith when we go away again

Judith is fantastic. Judith visited us before the booking to get to know Meg. She was keen to understand any issues with Meg and daily needs. Judith sent daily photos of lovely walks she took with Meg and looked after her with kindness and understanding. Judith sent daily photos of lovely walks she took Meg on. And when I arrived home Meg was in wonderful spirits - she'd clearly had a fantastic time - and the house was immaculate. I couldn't ask for more. Thanks Judith.

Judith is lovely. She came and looked after our two dogs, Bella and Olly while we went to a wedding. Our dogs get quite anxious and excited when they know something is happening and can be noisy and tend to jump up a bit with any visitors, though they settle fairly quickly. Judith was calm and coped with them both no problem, and she was happy to follow all my notes so Bella and Olly kept to their usual routines, and we were confident leaving our fur babies with her. She kept us updated during the day and the dogs were happy and settled when we got home. We've already booked with Judith for another two sits in the next couple of months.

I've also house and dog sat a number of times in recent years, making sure the dogs were happy and well-looked after. I loved exploring new areas with them and getting to know their indiviudal quirks. It was always emotional having to say goodbye when their owners returned (I like to believ the feeling was mutual).

Information Judith K. would like to know about your pet

Let me know any quirks your dog has. Their likes and dislikes, how they behave on a walk, how they interact with other dogs and people, what will get their attention in an emergency etc. Any health issues, or particular needs are also important to share, and of course if you have any concerns yourself - I know it can be a little nerve wracking to leave your pet with someone they don't know very well!

A typical day

Depending on where you are based, I'll be taking your pooch out to to some wide open green space - in the car if need be. I love walking over Wareham forest, Upton Heath and around Poole Park and Baiter.
