Doggy delight in Dorset!

Pet care experience

I have been lucky enough to have lived with dogs for the last 30+ years, and I love being in their company. My beautiful girl Vera had to say goodbye in September 2023, and words cannot describe how much I miss her. I would absolutely love to take care of your beloved dog, for however long is needed, and give him or her all the love and care I can. Vera was my constant companion and partner, and went everywhere with me: to work (I now WFH part-time); kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, cycling, and riding on my motorcycle. She never wanted to be left out of whatever it was I was doing, and we loved every minute of our life together. A little dog she might have been but her heart was huge and her joie de vivre even bigger! All transportation is carried out with the use of a dog seatbelt. I have a basic disclosure certificate (formerly CRB check). At weekends I enjoy spending time in the garden or anywhere outside. There's also time for longer walks, if these are what's needed, and days out to the beach or local woods. Of one thing you can be sure: wherever I am, your dog will be with me.

Lola was so well looked after by Jude. I went away on holiday with no concerns or worries about her. Jude made her a priority and Lola settled and was very happy and well cared for. Lola had never stayed away from me before but you would never have known it Jude made it home from home for her. I can not recommend Jude highly enough and will definitely be using her services again.

First time we’ve left our dog with Jude and won’t hesitate to again. From the off, Jude was very responsive, helpful and friendly. She genuinely cares and I could tell that I was leaving my dog in great hands. She got lots of cuddles and walks, which was perfect! Thanks, Jude.

Jude was absolutely brilliant with our anxious poodle, Charlie. She came and met him before and asked great questions to get a good idea of his needs. It was our first time leaving him with someone outside our home and Jude made us feel really comfortable. She sent regular updates and photos, gave him his medication and was brave enough to take him on some adventures! Charlie was clearly a very happy boy when we picked him up. Would definitely recommend Jude 😊

Alfie had another lovely weekend with Jude. You know your dog is happy when he runs excitedly to say hello to Jude. Thank you again for taking such good care of my boy x❤

Information Jude B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know of any special requirements your dog has, be these relating to food, exercise or socialisation when out and about. Also whether they are happy to travel in a car and will sit quietly wearing a seat harness. Is there anything they don't like and won't tolerate (other dogs, men, etc)?

A typical day

Walking in various environments will feature a lot if this is something your dog enjoys, and sometimes with friends and other dogs if this is appropriate. If your dog enjoys playing with his or her toys then very happy to have play sessions.
