Pet care experience
Hi! I am a school counselor and a dog person. My husband, son and l live in a very spacious home with a fenced in clean backyard. We have been with Rover for over 6 years now, and we truly enjoy the experience of meeting and caring for new pets. We started Rover as a way to teach our son what it takes to care for a pet before we made that huge choice ourselves. He is surely growing into a young responsible boy and loves to take our guests on walks and play with them. We finally welcomed our very own pet, Ace, into our lives. We continue to treat all our furry friends as if they were ours. Your doggy is welcomed in our home. :)

Amazing!! Our dog who is a bit of an introvert and avoids other dogs immediately felt at home and interacted with Juanita’s dog. The atmosphere she and her husband created in their home is calm and welcoming, and it carries over to the dogs they watch. Great people, great with dogs - definitely recommend.
Juanita and the Fam were Great! They took care of our pup like their own! They really gave us a peace of mind that our puppy was in good hands!

We like to include our furry guests into our daily schedule with walks, playtime, outdoor play, and mostly congregate in the kitchen area. At night, we prefer kennels.

Information Juanita I. would like to know about your pet
We always ask for a pet schedule. Such as feeding times, things we should be aware of in advance, likes or dislikes, and medical needs. We only accept house trained dogs. If your dog happens to have one accident, it is understandable. However, if your doggy is clearly not house trained and several accidents daily a $35 charge will be added. Thank you for your understanding.
A typical day
We have experienced many personalities so far, and e have learned to accommodate to each dog's personal needs. We have administered daily meds. and vitamins and even changed diapers. Something we do for all dogs is feed on schedule and take out for potty breaks every 3-4 hours. We try our best to be home during most of the stay and rarely leave them alone. We also do evening walks daily and give them an hour or two a day of outdoor playtime in our backyard or neighborhood nature park. In our family we work as a team! :)

I currently work as a full-time school counselor. Monday thru Friday I am home after 3 till 7am. We are mostly home on weekends. :)
