Pet care experience
I have grown up with pets and have had my own dog. I love animals, but cannot have my own at this time in my life. I decided to start helping friends and family with their pets. Over the past four years, I have developed experience with different breads, ages and temperaments. I have a background in caring for elderly dogs, medications and special diets/ exercise routines. I will send you updates and treat your pet as my own. My goal is to make your animal feel comfortable and help both you and your pet during times of separation.

Juan is the best! We have three dogs and he has watched them multiple times now. It is so great to know they have such great care while we are away. Juan gives them so much attention and sends photos of the dogs out on the walks, which we love to see. Highly recommend!
Juan was fantastic with our dog Hank, and took great care of him. He was responsive, shared lots of updates & videos (which I really appreciate), and was a great house guest. We'll definitely book him again in the future, and would recommend him to anyone.
Juan is a wonderful and super responsible caregiver for our golden retriever . A friend referred Juan to us a couple years ago, and he has since watched and cared for Lily many times, both for short stays as well as several week vacations. Juan makes sure she gets her exercise, proper feedings and medications. Lily loves the brushing and attention she gets…a lot! She gets really excited each time Juan comes to stay. Juan communicates well, with updates and photos. Our adult children have had great experiences with Juan and their pets. Juan is my family’s and my dog’s all time favorite caregiver by far!!!!

A typical day
I’m an active individual who enjoys the outdoors. When pet sitting, I like to do whatever the dog enjoys. Whether that looks like hiking, going to the dog park, walking them around their neighborhood daily route or playing with toys in the back yard.

Availability
I have a flexible 9-5 job. When dog sitting, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning, then again at night before or after dinner. On the weekends, depending on the dog’s physical ability, I enjoy hiking, going on runs and going to the dog park.
