I really enjoy being around dogs and they like be around me once they get to know me. I know that following a routine for our furry friends is important and I always do my best to give that same experience when I have to take care of my family members' dog. I've taken care of my family members' dogs when they are out of town on vacation. My family owns different breeds from a Golden Doodle to Dachshund, all with different personalities of their own too! I grew up with my own dog as a kid and still have the best memories of Gasper, a Boston Terrier, and Lhasa Apso mix. Even in college I would take care of my roommate's dog, Lilo, a Boxer, and walk her and continue her schedule when my roommate was out of town. My family also had a Shih Tzu named Oli. He had a feisty personality, but because I learned his behavior and began to understand him. He enjoyed being with me. I have great memories of him as well. Although I am new to Rover, I believe my genuine care for dogs will shine. I can be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays the afternoons after 3pm-10pm. Saturdays I can be available mornings and early afternoons unless I am out of town or at a family function that I am attending.
