Pet care experience
I am disabled but can handle well-behaved dogs. I write from my home so I have the time to get to most places. As well as being good with older dogs, I am also good with puppies. I have an electric trike so can only house sit units/homes, within a three mail radius of my home. I am loving and kind as well dependable. I have my small dog Birdie. Can provide character references and also references for how I treat my own dog. I am a beginning dog sitter but can still provide references from these experiences. I have had dogs all of my life. As a result, I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. All of my dogs have been rescues or dogs from litters of known owners. I believe a well-behaved dog is a healthy dog.

Robin was loving and caring during Rudy's stay. This was our little fella's first time away from us since he suddenly became deaf in January. Robin understood Rudy's separation anxiety and took extra steps to diminish his stress. Her frequent text messages and photos let us know that Rudy was being carefully monitored. She sat with him and gave the extra comfort our little Maltese needed. We appreciated Robin's TLC. Thanks, also, to Birdie (Robin's little dog) who showed Rudy that she was there to help, too.
Robin was a fantastic sitter for our puppy’s first experience away from us and home. She was so attentive to Daisy, kept us updated throughout the day with pics. So thankful for her care! She was great to communicate with. I would definitely recommend her!!
We cannot say enough great things about Robin! She was very easy to work with and she took great care of our Bella. Bella is almost 15 yo, and she is very anxious with travel and being with anyone other than her family. Robin was very gentle with her and did her best to make her feel safe and comfortable. Robin sent pictures and updates throughout the time Bella was with her to let us know how she was doing. It was a much better experience than boarding her in a kennel. I am so glad that we found her!!
Robin is awesome! We took a day trip to Beech Mountain so we dropped off the pup for the day. She was only 5 min away which was so convenient. Sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the day which I appreciated. Would highly recommend and will use her again!

A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them. I make sure that a pet has sufficient exercise and attention. When they are suffering terribly from separation anxiety, I will try music that soothes and will also contact the owner to see if there's any way I can assure the pet's comfort.
