Hello, I’m Joyce. All my furry friends know me as Aunt Joyce, the lady who rides her bicycle everywhere and always has homemade grain-free dog treats to hand out along the way. When I ride my bike and encounter a pooch, I stop to see if a homemade treat is okay to give. It makes me smile to see their tail wag faster and faster as I hand out the goodies! I must confess that most pups will jump up to kiss me no matter how they’ve been trained – it’s an Aunt Joyce thing. Life is wonderful with animals! What I love about my neighborhood are the nearby parks and spectacular views for walking. My community is very walkable with plenty of stores close by. It is also very child and animal-friendly. Unfortunately, I don’t have any canines of my own – only three cats. They are the sunshine of my life, but they don’t like dogs. Sometimes they don't like me because I smell like a pooch when I come home, but they understand how much it means to me to be with all animals. I do not work other than dog sitting and usually have a very flexible schedule. I do book some house sittings in other states and keep my calendar as up-to-date as possible. When I house sit or pet sit, I always make sure the space is clean and tidy. I clean the food and water dishes daily as well as vacuum and sweep the floors as needed. I have clients in Texas and Iowa who insist on Aunt Joyce coming to stay while they’re on vacation. I have a large furry family and have lots more love to give!
