Hello! My name is Joyce. Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my page! A bit about me...I'm a music and nature loving geeky Bay Area native who loves pets and has experience with both dogs and cats or any size. I sing and play music, love going on hikes, dancing and cooking. I'm a former owner of two Rhodesian Ridgeback mixes and absolutely adore dogs (especially large breeds) and currently have two cats who play fetch and act like dogs! Since I have cats, I'm unable to board at the moment, but I have a very flexible schedule so I'm available to check in on your pets almost any time! If you're located close enough, my apartment complex has a dog park that I have unlimited access to and would be happy to take your puppy there to play while you're away! I am also comfortable with and have a ton of experience with bathing, brushing teeth and administering medication for pets. I'd absolutely love to meet you and your furry family members and thanks again for considering me for something as important as caring for your loved ones! Joyce did a great job taking care of our puppy! She was on time, gave a thorough recap of her visits, and we really appreciated the photos she took as well. Would definitely hire her again!
Joyce did a great job house sitting while I was gone for the week. She was very easy to communicate with and set up the booking, and kept with updated with pictures of Butters. I could tell he had a great time and bonded easily with her. Definitely recommended, would book again.

In my client's homes, I ask about things to be aware of around the home regarding cleanliness, locked cabinets, etc... and do my best to leave everything in its place as it was before I got there if not better! I know I'd want the same for my home!

Prior to sitting a dog, I'd most likely do a home visit to meet you and your pet and understand their routine. I'd also love to get to know the dog's personality during that visit and if they get along with other dogs or are more of a solo act so that I can be aware of anything to watch out for before taking them outside. I'd also ask about any medications, allergies, etc...
A typical day
Depending on how much time we have together and how energetic the dog is, I'm happy to take them to the dog park to play fetch, go on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.

I work from home so my days are pretty flexible for drop-in visits. Unfortunately, I am unable to board at the moment. I have a working vehicle.
