Reliable & responsible care

Pet care experience

I'm a huge animal lover (think Elmyra from Looney Tunes) and have been a cat addict for 20+ years! Being a fur momma myself, I know how scary it is entrust their care to another person and the importance of having peace of mind when away. Quite a bit of my experience came from being a fur momma myself, volunteering with Furkids and dog sitting. I'm a pro at administering oral pills, liquid meds, eye meds. I’ve bottle fed and cared for a few kittens, my Monk-monk being one, who I found 2 weeks old.

Joyce is amazing - this is our second time having her pet sit. We had to make multiple changes to our booking, both prior to her coming and after travel issues arose during our trip. She was incredibly flexible with our travel issues (had to extend several days) and was able to stay until we were able to get home. It is great having peace of mind while traveling and leaving your pets with someone. I highly recommend having Joyce watch your pets!

Joyce was amazing. She spoiled my cat and senior dog for the long weekend she watched them - bringing cat toys and doggy ice cream (she checked before giving them anything new). She sent lots of pictures, and checked in daily with updates. We came home to a clean house and very happy pets! I am so happy to have found Joyce and will certainly be asking her to watch our pets again!

I absolutely LOVE travel, but worry about the care my dog receives while I’m away… until I met Joyce. She is so loving and attentive to my 85lb loving pitty. She carefully follows instructions from animal interaction to special dietary needs. For a while my baby needed his meals prepared every day, and she didn’t bat an eye. Her daily updates and photos keep my mind at ease so I am free to enjoy my time away! I have recommended her to every friend I have that has a pet, and they all agree she’s the BEST in the business!! 100/10 would recommend.

Joyce has been sitting for me for the past several months, and is absolutely amazing. She takes great care of my dogs which one is a senior, as well leaving my house better than she found it! She took great notes at our first meet and greet and texts if she has any questions. Joyce has also been very accommodating to my ever so changing work schedule and making sure I am always taking care of.

Information Joyce I. would like to know about your pet

For new clients, my first step is an initial phone call for you to get to know me and for me to learn about your expectations and pet's needs. If it's a match - yay! - I'll email you a form to fill out for your pet and schedule a complimentary meet & greet. A meet & greet allows your pet and I to get acquainted, go through your pet's info and care in detail and do a home walk-through. Some topics discussed include: • Separation anxiety • Special needs or behavior (chronic medical conditions, leash pulling, biting...) • Phobias (fireworks, thunderstorms, new objects...) • Untrained manners • Medical conditions • High energy needs

A typical day

• Frequent potty breaks • Backyard play • Indoor play, such as hide and go seek for treats • Evening walks • Unlimited belly rubs and snuggling • Treats, approved by parents, such as doggie ice cream - yum! • Possibly a crocheted treat or hat!
