I have loved dogs since I was a very young child and have always had a dog throughout my childhood and after while raising my own children. I haven't had a dog for many years due to my circumstances. I am retired now and live alone which makes it the perfect time to have a part time job.. Dog Sitting would bring me much joy and a furry companion to love. At the same time a chance to earn some extra money. I've done some dog sitting on my own in the last year. Through a friend, a Family was referred to me. I visited them beforehand to meet her dogs and go over what my responsibilities would be and instructions about my schedule. I usually stayed one night, but a couple of times for 3 nights while they vacationed. Their breed are Coon Hound and Black Lab Mix. Their names are Sassy and Elsa and the owner refers to them as her girls. My duties included feeding them. Letting them in and out as needed. They have a large fenced in yard to play in. They are lazy dogs and slept a lot. From time to time they will play/fight with each other. I kept her house tidy, got her mail, fed the birds outdoors, and water her outdoor plants. I also did dog sitting for my sister as she vacations a lot. She has a Brittany Spaniel. His name is Murph. He is a loveable dog and loves to be cuddled. I take this job seriously and can guarantee your pet would get good care and lots of T.L.C. I am available most any day of the week including week ends with some notice so I can clear any appointments I may have set up. I can keep your pet overnight if needed. I can walk your dog also if needed. My fee is $25.00 per day and $30.00 for overnight included.
