Pet care experience
*I may occasionally accept requests outside of my service radius.* I foster and volunteer for a local rescue. I have raised 3 foster puppies and 3 of my own, so I am comfortable caring for dogs that are not yet housebroken. In fact, I genuinely enjoy dog-training, I might even teach your pup a few tricks/skills while they’re in my care. I can help with potty-, crate-, and leash-training. I have experience with all kinds of dogs—from chihuahuas to Rottweilers. I feed my own dogs a fresh diet so I am comfortable with meals that take a little more time to prepare. My pup is a drop-coat breed growing out his full show coat, so I am comfortable with dogs that require daily brushing and more frequent baths.

This is was our second time we left Queenie with Joy and we were very please. We will return for sure in the future and we are recommend her for future clients as well.
I was nervous to leave my 4 month old puppy with someone for the first time while I had to go to work but I no longer have to worry. Rolo spent the day with Joy while I had to go to the office and he had a great time! I felt comfortable and confident leaving my baby with Joy as she is so lovely and attentive. She sent some updates and took pictures as well which was so appreciated. I will definitely be using her again when the need arises! :)
Joy was so wonderful with Myla. She made sure she was comfortable and safe and Myla came home happy. Highly recommend Joy!

I love to take pictures and videos, so you will receive regular updates. I have a fully fenced yard to keep your dog safe. I also have an exercise pen to keep puppies out of trouble if they aren’t fully house-trained yet. My neighbourhood has parks and plenty of trails for your dog and I to explore!

Please let me know if your dog follows a special diet, has special needs, or any allergies so I can properly care for them. As I have a young energetic pup, I typically only board one dog at a time, sometimes two. Please let me know your dog's energy level so I can ensure they're a good fit. For young puppies who are still working on house-training, please let me know your routine so I can follow it and remain consistent.
A typical day
Dogs have different needs—some require plenty of mental stimulation to prevent boredom, some can walk/run for miles, and others are content with a short walk around the block followed by hours of cuddles. Our schedule will vary depending on the dog, but snuggle sessions are guaranteed! I work from home, so I can spend a little more time with dogs that need it. We can play games, learn new tricks, go on trail adventures, and, of course, snuggle up on the couch.

Availability
I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule. I can go for walks in the morning, lunchtime, and in the evening, depending on your dog’s needs. I can also provide mental stimulation in between to keep them busy.
