Pet care experience
In 2017 my sister asked me to watch her 60 pound pit mix while her house was being built. That is where our love of dogs began! We loved her so much we didn't want to give her back after 8 months. In 2018 we got my mini dachshund (Prada) and our corgi-chihuahua mix (Hugo). We have most experience with senior dogs. When we moved to AZ we have cared for another senior long dog anytime his dog Mom needs it since 2021. Our dog Hugo went deaf and was diagnosed with Cushing's disease so we have experience with deaf and special needs pups. Unfortunately, our sweet baby Hugo (our corgi-chihuahua in the pics) passed November 2023 🌈

The thought of leaving our dogs in someone else's care was a little nerve-wracking at first, but our experience with Joy & Matthew was nothing short of exceptional. We had a meet and greet in their home to make sure they were equipped to keep our dogs safe and feel them out and we immediately felt comfortable. The yard is fenced off in multiple places, it was exceptionally clean and controlled. Right away we knew caring for dogs properly was important to them. From the moment we dropped off Maya and Truffles, we knew they were in good hands. Joy and Matthew went above and beyond to ensure our dogs felt loved, comfortable, and entertained. We received regular updates and photos, which reassured us that our pups were having a blast. It was evident that they treated our dogs as if they were their own, providing the utmost care and attention. We returned to happy and healthy babies which speaks volumes about the quality of care they received. We cannot recommend Joy and Matthew highly enough and will undoubtedly be booking with them again in the future. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Maya and Truffles!
My little Ruby loved her stay with Joy and Matthew! They are very attentive and loving. Little Miss Prada is a total sweetheart as well! A big, clean, safe, dog oasis with spaces for doggos to go out back on their own to sun themselves. We (Ruby) will be back!
Joy and Matthew are great. Took great care of Sushi and sent daily updates/pictures. Highly recommended and will book again.

Our home is a single story home so no stairs! We also have a doggy door, to a fully fenced newly remodeled backyard, so the pups can let themselves out whenever they need. We do try to go out with the dogs any time they go out just to make sure they do go potty and make sure there aren't any issues. We do have a pool, but we installed fences so the dogs cannot go near the pool. Our mini dachshund has not had any issues with getting along with other small dogs.

Just ahead of your dogs stay, please let us know your pups eating schedule and measurements. You can bring as much or as little as you want for your dogs stay. We have plenty of dog beds and dog bowls as well as 2 small kennels. Don't forget to include if your fur baby has any medications that need to be given or allergies so I can be sure to give them some extra care.
A typical day
Our dog (Prada) is older so she is pretty much a couch potato. She is not able to walk far in her old age so we had our yard completely redone with her in mind. For her safety, ability to roam and she can sunbathe as she pleases. When we tuck the pups in at night we always tell every dog goodnight and that we love them because every dog deserves love!

We both work from home so we are both home all the time so can both care for your pup! For drop ins and walks usually both of us will go otherwise we will let you know if only one of us can make it.
