Pet care experience
Until recently I've had pets all my life (gerbils, fish, cats, dogs, rabbits and a pony). My 17 year old dog, Daisy, passed and I'm not quite ready for my own again yet, but I miss the companionship. I've cat, dog and turtle-sat for a couple friends but would like to provide to others the care I'd want for my own pets. Daisy was a bit special needs with her separation anxiety, wariness of other dogs and medical issues so I know what a challenge that can be. But it means I'm equipped to handle a variety of scenarios with compassion. I have a fenced yard, flexible work schedule, live 2 miles from where I work in case I need to run home and love to take walks, play or cuddle with critters.

Joy has looked after our little pup a couple of times now and we love her. She is very patient, caring and sensitive to his needs. He can have separation anxiety and she was very patient with him, took him on lots of long walks and kept us updated on his well being. I would certainly use her again in the future and recommend her to others looking for a loving home for their dog.
I highly recommend Joy! She has been my first pet sitter experience and I always feel reassured leaving my puppy in her care. She is dependable, trustworthy, flexible and beyond helpful!! She sends updates, pictures and has shared helpful hints with my puppy's training. I have used her for daily walks and over night stays and will definitely be using her services again!
Joy has helped me multiple times now with my pup and every time I drop him off, he is always happy to see her again! She takes great care of him, sends lots of happy progress reports and gives him plenty of love and exercise. I highly recommend Joy as she is clearly a lover of animals and is very responsible and reliable!
