Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Joy, I’m not just a pediatric oncology nurse but I have a huge heart for my pets who I consider family members. I have animal experience of many kinds. I have grown up surrounded by cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes and have had other pets like hamsters and a hedgehog. Animals are a part of who I am and I absolutely adore them, they’re my happy place. I currently have 2 cats but my family has 3 cats and 2 dogs. I have cared for kittens as young as 3 weeks and 1 who I rescued off of the street to find out she had bone marrow failure so required a lot of medical care and have taken care of elderly dogs. I recently trained my sisters mini Australian Shepard puppy for her as well so I’m good with commands. I’m very flexible and don’t just stop by for a quick visit, I love to play and spend as much time as I can with my pets I sit for. I’m very cautious with covid because I work with very high risk patients so I am completely vaccinated even if that’s not a concern of yours. I will treat your animal like it’s my own

Joy did a great job with our dog! She sent lots of pictures and was a great communicator. Millie was in a great mood when we got home and I could tell she was very well cared for. Would definitely use Joy again.

Joy did wonderful with Chief! She was sure to update us through out the night so we felt more comfortable leaving him. This was our first time having someone come watch Chief and it sounds like it went great!
Joy is an amazing pet sitter! She’s taken care of my 2 dogs multiple times and has always treated them as her own. She takes her time to provide more than excellent care for them and I always have full confidence and trust in their wellbeing each time she watches them. She doesn’t just provide the care that you ask of her but goes above and beyond and always exceeds expectations. Ask Joy to care for your pets, you most definitely will not be disappointed!

At home I personally have 2 cats—1 being a kitten. My house is enclosed including my screened in porch. My cats are allowed to wander wherever they like but they have a toy bucket, wands, a play tube, cat tree, scratchers, a furbo pet camera, window hang — all of the good stuff! In a client home I follow their guidelines and rules they typically follow at home, I’m type A so if I’m told to care a specific way, I can guarantee that your needs and hopes will be met. I’m here for you and for what you and your pet needs. I love going on walks when it’s nice out so if I’m dog sitting that will be done often!
