Since I was a kid, I have enjoyed spending as much time as I can with animals. In fact, one of my greatest joys is being with animals. My grandfather (who was a farmer for part of his life) impressed upon me the importance of respecting and caring for animals. I consider them family I especially love forming new friendships with pets. I have 9 years experience owning and working with a variety of pets including rats, cats, and dogs. I have experience working with pets with anxiety and other special needs. My favorite part of drop ins & dog walking is the satisfaction of knowing I can make a difference in a pet’s day. I have a calm and friendly demeanor, and I have great rapport with dogs and cats. I make it a point to read and interpret dog & cat body language. I have worked with skittish cats according to their owners who warmed up to me. I love playing with cats and dogs alike, and understand how important it is for them to have play time. My availability is as follows: After 1:00pm on Mon & Wed After 3:00pm on Tues & Thurs Fridays is before 3:00pm Sat: before 10:30am Sunday:before 10:30am. -before & Saturday fully available, and I am available Sundays after 3:30pm. I schedule my pet drop ins & walks after this time (or before, with 1 day advance notice). All bookings require a meet & greet before the booking date in order to see how your pet takes to me. I am often enough out of town from Friday - Sunday that I chose not to specify this time as “available” on my Rover calendar. However, feel free to inquire for a walk or drop in on one of these days, I may be available for the time or times you are requesting. Special note: occasionally, the Rover app may estimate your distance from me being up to 5 or 6 miles off. This occasionally happens depending on where the client entered the information or where they were when they booked. I may ask you for general cross streets before I confirm a booking to ensure I will be able to accommodate your dog or cat. For bookings that are more than 6.5 miles distance, I charge a $5 gas fee per booking. I treat your home with respect. I strive for cleanliness, and I take precautions to ensure the healthiest environment for you and your pet. This includes sanitizing my hands before entering your home, and washing my hands before pet feeding and watering.
