Are you in need of a caring and reliable pet sitter? Look no further! I'm Jo, an experienced and passionate pet lover ready to provide exceptional care for your furry family members. Over the years, I've taken care of dogs, cats, birds, rats! I enjoy them all and love them all! My childhood pet was a bird, and I lived with three cats after college! Over the years, I've been dubbed "auntie" to many pets, especially doggies and kitties! I'm the friend that people call to come and watch the pets when I'm out of town, even sleeping over to keep the furry buddies company! Looking forward to meeting you and your fuzzy babies!

Joy did a great job with our 120 lb puppy, Bosco. She took him on long walks and seems to have established a good rapport with Bosco. Her willingness to help us on short notice and to engage in several lengthy walks was greatly appreciated. I recommend Joy and definitely plan on asking her to help us in the future.
Joy has watched our cat for well over three years. She's a wonderful caregiver and she always sends updates (ex. texts, photos, videos) to my partner and I when we're away. Joy always follows our instructions and she's very cognizant of our cat's egg allergy. Our furbaby absolutely adores her! I highly recommend Joy for pet sitting as she truly cares about your pet's wellbeing and she's very communicative.

At the moment, for the people who's animals I've taken care of, it's overnight staying and stop ins, mixed. If the animals enjoy company and/or benefit from that, I'm relatively comfortable considering spending time other than the initial feedings and such. It's important to me that the pet doesn't feel infringed upon in their home--that they have their safe space still! I always let the pet come to me first, letting them acclimate to me!

Written instruction is a must for me, even if you walk me through an animal's specific routine. I am a person who likes to follow steps to a T in order to ensure consistent and effective care. Any other nuances such as "they love baby talk" or "rub them right between the ears" or "they hate listening bossa nova tunes" are things I want to know! I want your fur baby to feel at home with me and for you to know they are safe and sound.
A typical day
Depending on your dog's habits and needs, I am all about outside! We will walk and play when appropriate, making sure there's stimulation and relief for them! For other animals, toys are always fun and important for them to feel engaged, as well as talking and being around them so they feel safe and that they can trust me.

Availability
I am most available in the mornings, before 4pm! I love to be out and about in the daytime and doing morning and noon stops and feedings would fit right in! I also am constantly walking, so having a buddy with me would be joyful!
