I’ve been an animal lover all my life! I’ve owned cats, hamsters, and guinea pigs throughout my life, and pet sat for multiple family and friends. I have had plenty of experience taking care of kittens as well as my cat give birth a couple of times. I used to work as a kennel attendant in my younger years. Throughout that time, I gained experience administering medication, and walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. I believe all animals and people deserve to be treated with care and respect. Walks are essential! Not only are they essential for dogs and I look forward to providing that, but I also look forward to adding it as part of exercise for my health. I don’t mind running and playing and being active with your pet! When I’m not caring for pets, I work part time as a pediatric occupational therapy assistant. I love working with kids, and consider myself a people person. What sets me apart from others is my value for communication, my empathy, and my flexibility. People say I am very approachable and easy to talk to and work with. Life happens annd has constant changes; therefore it’s important to me to be understanding of others, their personal experiences and preferences. I will practice acceptance in all our interactions. It’s important for me to make owners feel comfortable and be in frequent communication during the pet sitting/dog walking/drop in process.
