Jovani dogsat my dog for 4 days, with specific instructions not to leave Henry for more than 6 hours at a time, give him medication and take him on a 30 minute walk prior to leaving, and leave him with a stuffed kong and some treat puzzles. After returning home, I checked the log on my keypad log and she left Henry for 10.5 hours one day, 12 hours the next, and left almost an hour early on the last day. Checking the pre-portioned medications I left, Henry only got the medication he needs to be left alone once. The pre-filled kong and puzzles were in the same place I left them, seemingly unused. Outside of these long absences, the longest time between leaving and keying back in was 15 minutes, so Henry was not taken on a 30 minute walk the entire booking. When I asked is she had taken Henry anywhere during the booking (my attempt to give the benefit of the doubt and see if Henry was with her during these long absences) she told me no and that she left him alone once for four hours. When I let Jovani know that the logs from the keypad did not match what she told me and asked if she had an explanation (again, to give the benefit of the doubt), she did not reply so after 48+ hours I reached out to Rover support to request a full refund. Henry has needed additional medication, and K have had to alter my work schedule to prevent a major setback with his separation anxiety training. It has taken us years of training to get him as comfortable as he was before this weekend.
