WOOF! Help for holidays!

Pet care experience

I love animals. Dogs of all ages. Have been around animals all my life. Whether it’s pet sitting during holidays or helping a neighbor out with there dog. Even when I didn’t own them, I would go to shelters. So animals have always been in my life!

Joslyn was fantastic! She watched our two high energy Vizslas for an extended period, no small feat! She regularly engaged with us via text and pictures which was great. We will definitely use her again.

Our dogs warmed right up to Joslyn and she took great care of them for the week and a half we were out of town. One of our 3 dogs required medication on a schedule 3x/day, and scheduled feedings in conjunction. Joslyn was very diligent about keeping up with this and gave us daily updates. Our dogs were happy and our house was tidy when we got back. Really happy to have an alternative to boarding when we travel.

This was our first time using rover so we were a little worried about leaving Enzo Joslyn sent us so many pictures and updates about how he was doing the whole time! Enzo loved her and was very happy while she was here!

Safety, trust & environment

I live in Hyde Park so I have access to tons of parks but also Bayshore Boulevard. If you have a dog that likes walks or even just likes comfort I have two sofas and a day bed that my dog loves as well. I have no problems with animals on furniture as long as the animal is not known for using the bathroom on them. If you have a dog that just requires more attention there are dog parks I can take them to whether it’s during my lunch break or even after work. But I can get off work at any time to give them walks. Any type of schedule that I need to abide by I can do that. I have a dog that requires medicine for stomach issues so I understand when dogs need extra care as well. And a clients home as long as you give me guidelines I can definitely go to your house as well and House set along with pet sitting.

Information Joslyn R. would like to know about your pet

If the dog has a history of biting, history of growling, if the dog is skittish ( my dog is like that at first, but it’s still good to know), what body parts the dog does not like to have touched for example their tail their feet or maybe like their lower back, If the dog is scared of some thing, has allergies, is food aggressive, does not like to be around other animals or kids. I don’t have any kids but just in case we go to a dog park it is really good for me to know. Also if your dog is even one that wouldn’t want to go to a dog park, frequency of walks things, feeding and bathroom schedule along with a walking schedule things like that.

A typical day

The dogs can lounge around in the living room along with the Corredor that I have. I have a TV and I put it on the nature channel. There’s also some dog shows I know that other dogs I have babysat really like. Depending on what type of visit it is I could give the dog food based on the dietary restrictions or treats again based on the dietary restrictions. Then first thing in the morning we go for a walk. I typically walk my dogs 2 to 3 times a day but it could be more depending on the needs of the dog. They got loads of one on one attention because I do work from home. Whether it’s playing ball down the hallway or me taking a break and going to a dog park down the road. The dogs always enjoy themselves!
