Reviews
Josie did a wonderful job with my dog Toby, who seemed quite happy with the whole experience. She was available last minute, was very prompt and communicative, and took lots of amazing, very charming photos. Would absolutely recommend her. Thanks Josie!
Josie was great!
This was my first time using Rover and I had a very positive experience with Josie! Josie is reliable, kind, and seems like a natural with animals. I was very impressed that she was able to connect with my highly anxious cat who is not a fan of new people. She sent the best photo updates and I could tell she gave them all the love. Would definitely book Josie again!
Josie did a fantastic job pet sitting for us! This was our first time using a pet sitter in our home and it couldn’t have gone better. She was extremely attentive to our yellow lab, 5 month old golden doodle, and our cat. She took our puppy on a hike, gave them pup cups, and lots of playtime. She made sure to contact us with any questions that came up and made us feel at ease leaving our fur babies. She also sent several cute photos and videos of them which we really appreciated! We would definitely recommend Josie for pet sitting and would love to have her help again in the future.

I'm a strong believer in the positive reinforcement approach to animal care and training. I think it is important to care for each animal as if they were my own, and I pride myself on the knowledge I've gained in animal care, specifically canine and cat care. I guarantee to leave your home cleaner than I found it, and I will always take extra time to provide individualized and thoughtful care to your pets! I am Canine First Aid and CPR certified, as well as experienced in medication administration, including diabetes management and in-home care plans. My experience is not limited to dogs and cats, as I also have 10 years of equine care expertise.
Information Josie W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs, or behaviors that are important to watch for. For example, if your dog is better on with a harness over a collar.
A typical day
I will do enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, scent work, and teaching new commands. I can also offer walks, and jogs depending on the dog’s social and personal capabilities. I love taking my dog to Heron Park in Springfield. It’s a great and quiet place along the river!
