I’m a lover of ALL dog breeds and have taken care of several dogs over the years. I’m an owner of a poodle mix and shihtzu and believe all dogs are created equal. I love playing chase, fetch, and taking strolls with dogs. No dog is too big or too small. I believe that your dog deserves all of the love and attention you are able to give. I am well versed in most dog breeds and am highly aware of different risks your special buddy might face. I believe that you have to work with each dog to form a bond with them and am very patient with all dog personality types. I am willing to take care of any breed no matter their background or personality.

Josie was phenomenal with checking in on our kitties. My mom ended up in the ER and I didn't know if we'd make it back in time. She offered to continue caring for them. She was great

Josie took good care of my Chinook boy. She left the house neat and tidy and I would feel very comfortable with having her help us out again for a future trip.

I believe that constantly being aware of where you pets are is critically important. I constantly check up on animals, ensure they have water and have been fed according to schedule. As a dog sitter I also ensure all spills/accidents are cleaned up, toys put away, dishes done, and other basic cleaning is done. I can also bring in mail, water plants, and take care of a pool.

Any and all information is important to me! Does your dog like to go for a swim in the pool after their walk? Let me know! Does you dog have a specific place they like to sleep or are they allowed on the furniture? No information is too much when it comes to your adored pet. I have no breed preferences and can work with all dogs.
A typical day
I believe in letting the dog guide me on what they'd like to do. Whether that's playing with their favorite toy or going for a walk around the neighborhood. Owner preference is also very important to me.

I am highly concerned about all animals and their routine. When on a job, I spend as little time away from the home as possible and immediately shower all pets with love and attention when I return back. I prefer to book jobs where I can take my small elderly dog with me.
