Pet care experience
I’m prior service as a animal care specialist. I have done the job of a vet tech for over 3.5 years, and I’m a certified fear free professional. Currently enrolled in school at Purdue to get my license as a vet nurse. My passion is animals, i have a ton of knowledge that i would love to share! I’m walking other animals in my neighborhood but thought I’d reach out a little more. I also help them with some other tech skills that i have from being a vet tech for 3.5 years. I have experience with heat casualty cases and emergency cases. I feel that i am patient and understanding especially to our anxious pups because of my fear free training. I am excited to assist you and your fur babies!

She saved our dachshund Chloe just by giving advice and instructions over the phone after she ingested some grapes. Stayed calm, collected, and knew exactly what to do. I have 5 very different sized and temperamental dogs. Josie is loved and accepted by each one of them! Josie has a vast knowledge of veterinary care and practices so in cases of an emergency she is a quick thinker and can respond with that knowledge. She also is a firm believer in a fear-free environment for animals and treats all animals she comes in contact with as if they were little children who are just scared and calms the animal. Josie is professional, caring, smart and efficient. My dogs love her and she has helped us with them so much!
Josie is a wonderful, caring person, who loves animals more than life itself. She cares very deeply about providing the best possible experiences for any animal she looks after. She has experience with taking care of animals, and puts forth all of her effort to make sure they are happy and comfortable.

A typical day
Playing fetch, we can go to different walking parks that are shaded so new environments are fun! And shaded areas that i check the ground to be sure the pups don’t get burnt paws! I keep water with me and a bowl so they have access to water because of the heat! I might bring along my pup too, i have a sweet beagle.
