Hi, my name is Josie and I just moved to Georgia from North Carolina to pursue my PhD. There is a special place in my heart for dogs and cats! I would like to spread love onto other dogs, puppies, cats, kittens like they were my own. I specifically want to help with watching dogs or cats over the weekend. If you have a trip planned and need someone to watch your furry friend I'm available most if not every weekend. Due to my schedule being pretty spread out during the day I can also offer my time to walk your dog and come let them out for bathroom breaks if you are unable to or sit and cuddle with your cat. I am very reliable and will do everything that is required of me to care for your animal. I would love to care for your pet!

Josie is one of the most compassionate and empathetic people that I am lucky enough to be close with. Anyone who is smart enough and determined to be a graduate candidate in the field of chemistry very clearly shows they are capable of vast amounts of responsibility.
Josie grew up with dogs in our home. She loves dogs and wants to snuggle with them all the time. One of our dogs at home named Sophie is Josie’s pal. Sophie loves to snuggle with Josie. She has volunteered at the shelter’s to walk, etc. with dogs. She has volunteered in High Point to dog sit at a home when the home owners were away on vacation. Josie will be great at taking care of anyone’s dog. Josie is special just like all of the sweet doggies that she has shared her love with.

I care for my clients pets in their home by making sure to stick to their pets care plan as closely as possible. My hope is to not interrupt their pets normal schedule but just be a different hand that walks/feeds/snuggles etc. the clients pet so they can feel the most at ease when their owner is away.

I would love to know how your dog reacts to seeing another dog on a walk - is it ok for them to go up and say hello if the other owner says it's ok or is it better to avoid and maybe even move to the other side of the side walk.
A typical day
I usually walk a clients dog in an area we have discussed/the dog is familiar with if I am doing a drop in visit or house sitting.

Availability
I'm currently a full time graduate student. I work full 8 hour days so depending on the proximity to my location, I could offer a walk or drop in if that is needed during my lunch break. My schedule is open week nights after 5:30pm so I am available for evening drop ins. For house sitting, I will briefly need to go home to take care of my cat.
