Hi! My name is Josie and I would like to provide dog-sitting/walking/drop ins on occasion in South Boston, Massachusetts. I am doing this because I love dogs (!!!) and to help me save money. I also use this site to get a walker for my own dogs! We always had a dog in the home when I was going up - and I immediately adopted an elderly special-needs dog after college. Currently, my parents have a standard poodle puppy named Foxy that I love to go visit in NY. Right now I have two small dogs in my Southie apartment (both are rescues) that I consider my children named Ladybug and Toby. I love them so much! Additional experience includes: taking care of my friends' dogs on their weekends away (mini dachshund puppy, elderly mixed breed hound), dog walking/sitting a local special needs Pomeranian for 1+ years down the street until he moved to Minnesota, summer day hangouts with my pal Maddie, the bernadoodle, and different dogs from this very site!

Josie was great! She spent time getting to know my pup since this was their first time they met. She gave updates throughout the walk, and I could tell from the pictures my dog enjoyed the walk. She was really friendly and had great communication. I’d work with her again!
Josie was amazing! From fast and enthusiastic communication beforehand, to keeping me in the loop when our anxious, old pup Charlie had some irregular bathroom breaks. Our dog can be a lot to handle on a good day and we feel totally confident he’s in good hands while we’re away with Josie.
Josie is an emphatic dog lover and a deeply caring human being. I have known her for 5 years and know her to be responsible, organized, reliable, and compassionate. She has a way with animals that is truly admirable. I highly recommend her for all your pet needs!
This was the longest time our puppy was without us and once again I couldn't be happier with Maddie's stay at Josie's!! Josie was extremely accommodating to the last minute change we had due to a flight cancelation and kept us posted on Maddie's daily activities without missing a beat! Josie let us know how our puppy is doing without me even having to ask - she made us feel comfortable and made our puppy so so happy! THANK YOU JOSIE!!!
