Pet care experience
I've taken care of animals practically my whole life. I have experience with big dogs (over 75 lbs), medium dogs, and small dogs. I have also had experience with puppies as young as 1 month old. I have the most experience with cats and kittens. I have had experience with kittens as young as 1 day old, as well as with pregnant cats, and elderly cats. I walk my dogs 2x a day, and I am willing to do more or less based on whatever your preference is. Overall the goal is to keep the pets' schedule as similar to as it is when you are at home!

Josie did great with my babies! They’re still puppies so they’re a little crazy but she handled them perfectly. If you want someone to trust to love your dogs I would highly recommend booking Josie! Definitely will book again when I need help!

Josie has many years of experience caring for all kinds of pets. She helps care for the family pets-3 dogs and 3 cats plus many foster kittens and puppies. I do not care for pets in my home, because my home is a dorm an does not allow pets. In my client's home, I will spend as much time as I can with the pet, walk them, feed them, pet them, etc.

I would love to know if a dog has any special needs that I should be aware of. This would include arthritis, bad eye sight, medication, etc. I also would like to know what the dogs usual routine is. How much time does it spend with people and other animals? Does it like walks or does it prefer to be let out into the backyard? Another thing is general temperament of the dog.
A typical day
If you are comfortable with me taking the dogs out of the home, I would be happy to take them to the beach, to parks, or walking them around the neighborhood. Every dog is completely different, but I will do my best to give each dog I watch their own experience to keep them comfortable, entertained, and safe.

Availability
I am a college student at Jacksonville University, so I have classes that I must work around. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I am free in the early mornings and then again after 12. Tuesday and Thursday I am free after 3 pm. The weekends are completely free for pet care.
