We are a two dog household with a two story home and a fenced in back yard. We love all dogs! I grew up in a household with at least three dogs at a time. I currently have an Italian Greyhound who loves to play with other dogs, and an English Bulldog who loves to sleep. Our bulldog has a lot of health issues, so I am very experienced with taking care of dogs who require a lot of medication or other care. Our Italian Greyhound is an escape artist, so I make sure to keep a very close eye on him and eliminate all opportunities for him to sneak away. I would do the same for any dog in my care. We have experience pet sitting for others in our home, and our dogs are good at welcoming others into their space. My sister is a dog trainer, and from her I have learned the importance of keeping a dog on their own schedule to keep them comfortable. Therefore, I'm happy to follow the same routine you have at home in my home or in your own home. I'm happy to crate them if they are comfortable in a crate, or let them sleep on my bed if they are comfortable with that! My pups are like my children, and I definitely understand the stress and anxiety that anyone has when leaving their pet with a stranger. I will make sure that your dog is very well taken care of and gets lots of love and snuggles while you are away! I also love to get pictures of my dogs when I am out of town, so I will take and send as many as you want/send as many updates as needed. I work from home every day, so I am available to watch dogs in my own home or your home (so long as there is available internet). I can also do lunch time drop-ins during the week to let your doggo out or take them for a short walk. If a dog stays at my house they will have access to the backyard and will have frequent bathroom breaks. I have a fenced in back yard, and two friendly dogs to play with yours! If there are any issues with the dogs getting along, my dogs are okay being separated and hanging out in another room. I will always separate the dogs when they are eating, and will never leave them alone together. I am very careful about preventing any escaping (I have my own escape artist), so I will always keep a very close eye on your dog even when they are in the fenced in yard.
