Joshua stepped up to save the day when we moved to town and needed a reliable dog walker! He’s extremely flexible, great with my pups (and always spares an extra cuddle for my cat too!), and gives awesome updates via the Rover cards. I can already tell he’s gotten a feel for their personalities and they’re quick to show me their new favorite walking routes that Joshua takes them on. We feel very lucky to have found him!

Josh is a communicative, fastidious and incredibly thoughtful individual. He is honestly a golden retriever in human form. He is high energy and a very outdoorsy fellow. It must've been 2 days after I met Josh through a friend that I had mentioned I was traveling home for the holidays and leaving behind my sweet cat for a few days. Without hesitating, he asked if I needed someone to watch her in my absence. I was shocked because all of my friends knew I had a senior kitty who was very clingy but none of them had thought to ask if she needed care while I was gone. Josh had only had experience caring for his family's disabled dachshund (who had a spinal injury and requires daily assistance with urinating and mobiizing). Despite never having cared for a cat of his own, he cared for her with great sensitivity. He made sure she had clean water and food, cleaned her bowls daily and stayed for an hour at a time to keep her company and brush her (her fave!). He sent me photos and videos of her while I was gone - I didn't even have to ask. He did such a great job that when I had returned from my trip and he came to visit, my cat preferred him over me! She continued to do so, until the day she passed. As she became ill, he helped administer medications, slept on the couch with her to comfort her, carried her to her food and supported her in the litterbox when she could no longer support herself. Trust me when I say that he has a degree of tenderness and patience that is unmatched and that your pet will love him. I like to tell friends now that my cat Oreo picked Josh for me, and she made a really great choice.
