Pet care experience
Personally trained and cared for 10+ dogs. Proud owner of a German Shepherd named Blitzen and I've cared for multiple pets at the same time over the years. I firmly believe exercise is necessary for happy owners and pets alike. Leadership never turns off.

Josh was amazing with our two dogs! He is great with dogs and has a good sense of what they need to feel at ease in a new place. He is very good at communicating and letting us know how the dogs are during their stay with him. He was able to wear our husky out which is a tough task! Highly recommend for any of your needs for your pups.
Joshua was fantastic - he and his pup Blitzen kept Buster entertained, exercised and overall cared for all weekend. I hope to use Joshua again and I bet Buster seconds that!
I have known Josh and his family for over 25 years, and always known him to be an honest, talented, hard working person. I have a 13 year old Samoyed and a 5 year old Great Pyrenees, about 200lbs of dog between the two of them. Josh took care of them, and my house, for a week and half while I was on vacation, and I couldn’t have been more pleased, and confident, to know my best friends were walked and fed by him every morning and evening while I was away. Josh not only takes care of dogs while their humans are away, but he is experienced in training dogs, so you can be sure when you get back from your trip, your pup might have learned a few new tricks or listen that much better!
Joshua was great with our dogs. He has a big backyard with lots of room for play and relaxation. He was good at keeping us informed on how our dogs were doing and even sent pics. Love that he took the time to make sure our dogs got a walk daily. Will definitely use him again!

I have a large backyard that is enclosed by walls. Every pup I house I exercise, as it's important for their mental health (and mine), and it helps them acclimate to a new environment. I've trained multiple dogs and I'm adapted to recognizing and preventing unwanted fights and scenarios of that nature. I care for all pets in the same manner and typically follow leadership strategies recommended by Cesar Milan & Don Sullivan such as implementing rules, boundaries, and limitations as well as showing affection at the appropriate time so as not to encourage nervous and aggressive energy. Dogs have been a large part of my well-being and happiness, and I understand that they have specific needs as well. Leadership to me entails leading my own life and practicing personal integrity. Every pup I've met or trained offers new opportunities for patience and learning and I'm happy to accept that challenge.

I like to know their energy level and motivations (food or play). I also find it helpful to know how much and how often they are fed and if they dig or not. It's also helpful to know if the owner usually crates their dogs and any problems they have run into in the past, whether it be a training issue or an issue their dog has with people or other dogs.
A typical day
I love to bike dogs, it is perhaps my favorite bonding experience. Other than that I like to play fetch and run around with them. My favorite place to take my pups is the gulf course, especially on nights with a full moon. I typically run with my pup every morning as part of my normal ritual/routing.

Availability
I live off a simple and disciplined schedule. I'm almost always up before 05:00 with the exception of weekends and the first things I do as part of my morning routine is let the dogs out, meditate, and then take my dog Blitzen for a run.
