I've just graduated from medical school and have 6 months before I start my residency. I have a dog, Hank, and a cat, Bella-- and I have worked hard to make sure that they live a fulfilling life. They are both happy hosts when it comes to having visitors, and hank is always eager for a partner to play tug-of-war with. I have experience in basic obedience training. Additionally, I've dealt with behavioral issues specific to food aggression and guarding. I'm comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats and other pets. I also understand that exercising a dog should be both physical and mental. Having your dog well exercised and happy is my top priority. I will individualize an activity schedule as each dog is different. I will provide long walks with frequent stop/starts and well structured off-leash play (with your permission). I will also do my best to mitigate any pet-specific behaviors that YOU do not like. I enjoy walking around Audubon park, the levee, the fly, City Park, and Lafreniere Park. Again, I would not attempt to take your pet there without your permission first.
