Pet care experience
I have previously worked as an Animal Caretaker for working dogs, as such I am comfortable handling all sorts of dogs. As a teenager I also volunteered for Humane Society, as well as Boxer and Pit Bull rescues for in home fosters. My wife and I have had dogs for years.
Reviews
Josh and his wife are awesome. I feel at ease with Luke being with them
These people are absolutely amazing! They made Maggie so happy during her stay, they were super communicative and we never had to worry because they gave us so many great updates! Perfect family for an energetic, social dog. They showered her with affection and she had a wonderful time with them as well! They gave us recipes she enjoyed during her time, tips for training, beautiful pictures, and are just the nicest people! 10 stars!
Excellent, as always. Great communication with texts and a lively video too!
Josh & Kristen was awesome with Luke. They sent pictures and text all the time. I would recommend them to everyone

We have a quarter acre fenced in back yard with vibrant bird life and the occasional squirrel and rabbit, and plenty of gardening projects going on for new smells for the pups. We let dogs out every couple hours during the day, and attempt at least one walk a day if they handle well on a leash. During weekends we have longer outings as a family that may delay frequency of potty breaks, but the dogs will have a cool area with toys and softness to lay on and water to drink so they are comfortable, our outings tend to be short though.

Information Joshua & Kristen B. would like to know about your pet
We prefer to board small breeds as ours is under 10 lbs. Important things for us to know are any injury/illness needs, especially medications and dosage. As well as the preferred feeding schedule for them. If they have a favorite toy and a bed/crate they are comfortable in, please provide that as well so they have an easier transition.
A typical day
The typical day here varies. We have a fenced yard that we let our dog out into whenever he alerts to wanting to go out and always let dogs out first thing in the morning and one last outing before bed. We play fetchvall daybfor our high energy dog and will gladly do so for a visitor as well as go for a daily walk if they are up to it. If your dog had health issues or is older and prefers to just lounge around and relax we try to make sure a soft place is available in each room for them so they can pick if they want to be around the activity of our kids or off in a quiet corner. We teach our kids dog safety and let them know that if a dog has gone into their crate or a designated soft bed that they are off limits for them to approach so the dog knows they have a safe place if they get overwhelmed.
