Pet care experience
Before I was even born, my parents established our family as "dog people" when they adopted our first two dogs, Feliza and Tucano. Since Feliza and Tucano, we have adopted and raised 5 other dogs. As a kid, my chores included caring for the dogs (daily feedings, picking up messes in the backyard, etc). Because my family has owned a variety of breeds, I learned that all breeds are special. I have raised 2 puppies as an adult, and cared for my elderly dogs. So no matter age, any owner can know I have experience with all ages. I offer a spacious home in Kuna with a backyard.

We have never used a service like this before, and Josh made us feel very comfortable about our pups in his care. He was great with communication and punctual! I didn’t have to worry about my old dog, and he went above and beyond to cater to our specific needs! Would definitely recommend him, and plan on booking him again when I can’t take my pups on my next adventure.
Josh was great with Dallas and was a nice house guest. He ensured Dallas was cared for well and taken on needed walks as Dal is a cattle dog who has medium energy. Josh was communicative and sent photos each day - which I like. Would recommend using for future visits!

Let me tell you about Josh! He was incredible with my dog Beau! I was gone for a few days! My dog is considered still a puppy! Sadly he had a poopy accident in his crate one night but Josh didn’t mind to clean that up (bless his soul)! He was constantly updating me about Beau, morning afternoon and night! I also loved that he took him out for walks for 3 hours every day. How sweet! I absolutely loved working with Josh and I will definitely work with him again! 100% amazing service! Thank you!

While house sitting, you know your pets best. All I need is to understand schedule, temperment, personality, and how your pet communicates, and if they use a crate while away. I am happy to keep up any schedule they are accustomed to. Whether that is going on walks, going to a dog park, or hanging out at home.

Before sitting a dog, the most useful information is temperament. Knowing whether a dog is more relaxed or is high energy helps me prepare for the sitting.
A typical day
I love taking the dogs with me on a walk 1-2 times each day get out of the house and explore the neighborhood. Depending on the dog, we may go visit the dog park to socialize. Or we can stay home and hang out on the couch.

Availability
I work at the Boise Airport, usually Mon-Fri. My hours vary, but I am not at work longer than 8 hours. If your home is located 10 min or less from the Boise Airport, I will use my lunch to check in on your pup and let them out. Otherwise I will let them out before going to work and then again when I return in the afternoon. When I am at your home, I will match your dog's needs. If they wanna hang out on the couch, I can do that. If they need to get out for a walk, I am happy to do that as well!
