Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats, and I currently have a mini golden doodle, Apollo, who's in training to become a therapy dog. He's a year old and loves play. I am retired Air Force, so my full attention will be on your dog and it's needs while you are away. My availability will differ week-to-week, but still plenty of time available and I am pretty flexible with my schedule. I will treat your dog or cat as my very own. I was completely impressed with Joshua watching my little dog. After meeting him and introduced him to my baby, I knew my dog was in great hands while I was out of town. I will call upon Joshua in the future to watch my baby.

If you decide to let me board you pup then I have a fenced in back yard near Floyd Lamb park, so it is very quiet throughout the day. I will sit outside and supervise to ensure safety and play as needed (e.g. fetch, tugging on a rope, or just relaxing in the sun). I can crate your fur baby as I do mine at bedtime to ensure their safety overnight. I let Apollo out every morning at 4:30 so he can stretch and potty. Then it’s playtime!

I would like a quick "meet and greet" so you are comfortable with me and/or my house. This will help me understand your dog's needs while you are away. Do they like the scratched in a certain area or do they enjoy snuggles on a special blanket or have their own toy they carry around. - Background and personality? - Medical issues? - Feeding routine? - Special needs? Please share any additional information you feel is needed to help me provide the best care possible for your best friend(s).
A typical day
I live next to Floyd Lamb Park, so I am able to walk/run around there or just along the neighborhood sidewalks. My backyard is also fairly large, so there is a safe place to play fetch or for your fur baby to sit and relax and enjoy the quietness of the neighborhood. I always bring fresh water and owner-approved treats for activities while playing away from home. It is also my priority to be as prepared as possible for your pet’s care, so I bring a first aid kit with me on our adventures.
