Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs, cats, fish, and lizards for over 20 years. I take pet care very seriously and treat my pets as if they are family. I have experience with treat and clicker training for dogs and I’m a very tidy person so my cats have always been happy with their litter boxes. It’s also not uncommon for cats who are not very social to warm up to me right away. This has happened too many times to count with friends, relatives, and even strangers. I used to consider myself more of a dog person, but a great cat will always win my heart. I recently moved back to Saint Louis (my hometown) after 6 years in Seattle and I’m waiting to adopt once I can buy a house and get settled in to minimize stress on my pets so right now seems like a great time to get furry friend time in via Rover until then. I’m someone who has always enjoyed walking for pleasure so it seems silly not to bring along a pup or two.

I’ve known Josh for a while now and I can strongly say that he’ll take good care of your dogs cause he also has a dog energy and is a very intelligent, he likes to go for long walks and is pretty active guy. Give him step by step instructions and he’ll do just that and maybe more to tend to your dogs needs.
Joshua is a great friend of mine, and my cats have known and loved him coming up on 10 years soon. I’ve seen Joshua lovingly raise and care for various family pets over the last 15 years, both cats and dogs. After living out of state for a few years, both of my cats were full of excitement and joy when they finally saw Joshua again, and they picked up exactly where they left off. Now any time we are at my place the cats are literally ALL over Joshua. Joshua’s pets have always been a loving part of the family.
Joshua has always been very conscientious when it comes to pets. He enjoys spending time with them, playing with them, and especially walking them. He takes walks everyday normally, but has often mentioned how he prefers to share those walks with a dog. He really pays attention to their needs. He is a joyful person, and very respectful of the pets and their surroundings. I believe you can count on him to take excellent care of your pet.

Ensuring they are on a desired meal, walk, or medicine schedule is completely within my capabilities and I can be as communicative as you would like to ensure you and your pet(s) feel as comfortable as possible. I’m physically fit and love to stimulate and have active play time with pets, but if your animal needs a calm and quiet environment I’m totally ok with that too. If you are looking for a responsible caregiver for your pet or to house sit, look no further! I’m very tech savvy and have a background in video/ photo, and unlimited data through verizon so I can send plenty of clear photos and videos throughout the time I watch your pet too!

A typical day
I love seeing joy, health, and growth in pets. Teaching them new tricks, taking the for walks, playing with them, and good old fashioned rub downs are all par for the course. A typical day would include a walk, preferably to a near by park, some fetch, tug of war, or general play, and some time working on commands and personal connection.
